Solidor’s Showing Off Again!
 

Following their dazzling display of composite door innovation at the FIT Show, Solidor are now turning their attentions to Grand Designs Live later this year, along with the inaugural Build Show in 2015.

Glazerite ‘Special’ Plant’s Up And Running
 

Glazerite Windows Ltd has unveiled the biggest single part of its £1million-plus investment for 2014 with the commissioning of its new ‘Specials’ factory alongside its Wellingborough HQ.

All production for the fabricator’s acclaimed Vertical Sliding Sash window as well as its new VEKA Imagine Bi-fold, and Residence 9 flush sash window ranges will now be carried out at the new purpose-built unit, using over £500,000 of advanced new machinery and a team of fully dedicated personnel. Also joining these will be the innovative New Wave slide-swing door and the imminent VEKA Imagine patio door.

Although Tradelink is a manufacturer of one of the widest ranges of windows, doors, sealed units and conservatories in the UK, it still finds time to regularly raise money for charity. This time Marie Curie Cancer Care received £140 from a Blooming Great Tea Party the company held in June.

“As well as selling cakes and biscuits, our Blooming Great Tea Party event included a non-uniform day where staff paid not to wear Tradelink branded workwear, a raffle and a competition,” says Bev Gant, one of the event organisers. “We try to hold charity events regularly to support as many good causes, which are important to different members of the Tradelink team, as possible.”
