As the FIT Show made a triumphant return after a two-year absence, it was encouraging to see so many Door and Window manufacturers using Coastal’s BLU and DURATIQUE hardware.
There was a buzz in the air throughout the three-day show, as peers could once again get together face-to-face to discuss challenges of the last two years, gain valuable insight through industry seminars and of course showcase products and innovations.
Coastal worked with a number of manufacturers to supply hardware for their front entrance doors, sliding doors and windows in classic, contemporary and antique styles.
Feedback from exhibitors and attendees alike was overwhelmingly positive, says the company.
“It’s not just the finish, it’s the durability, you’re not going to get any corrosion issues” comments Valdis Seglins, product manager at Solar Calibre Doors, before adding that Coastal hardware “compliments our premium doors nicely”. The PVD Satin Brass Range proved to be a huge favourite with customers and visitors alike on the Solar Calibre stand.
CompDoor sales director Richard Diliberto outlines BLU hardware’s longevity when commenting “The fact it’s made from 316 Stainless Steel & carries a lifetime guarantee is a huge benefit”.
On Rockdoor’s stand, the HAB15 PVD Stainless Satin Black Pull Handle gathered some excellent feedback and attention, A member of the customer support team Chris commented “It’s a great addition to the current version we already offer” before adding “customers will love it, it will be perfect”.
The Coastal KM9 Stainless Steel Patio handles contributed in creating an appealing and distinctive look for Kommerling’s Premiline Pro range. On the Comar stand the KM130 Ergonomic Door Handle and LP400 Letter Plate were also on display.
“It was great to have the FIT show back this year, you can see the industry was ready for a live event” comments Coastal group managing director, Loren Jenner “It was extremely exciting to see Coastal have such industry recognition and positive feedback across our product offering”.
