ERC Testing, the Leigh based test house providing testing services to companies within the flat glass, window and door industries, has further strengthened its team with the addition of John Fradley, who joins in the role of Laboratory Technician to support with the day to day testing.
Mike Hackett, Laboratory Manager at ERC Testing explains: “We’re delighted John has joined us, as he adds another much-needed pair of experienced hands to the team. The lab is growing at a fast pace and we want to ensure we keep ahead of the demand. John joins us with a wealth of skills acquired over his 40 years’ experience in the Communications Industry, where he was accountable for internal and external quality in installation and testing in a Project Management role. Used to working to defined procedures and maintaining detailed records, John’s attention to detail within a technical environment, alongside his excellent communication skills and customer relations, make him a valuable addition to the team and we’re delighted to have him on board.
“When we first set up the business, two full time technicians were testing for four days of the week. We now have two full and two part time technicians testing five days a week, with office administration support. The business is going from strength to strength and the team has grown because of that success. We will continue to evolve and develop to ensure we continue to deliver on customer expectations.”
John concludes: “I can already tell I’m going to really enjoy working in the lab, as the stringent testing procedures require a level of attention to detail that comes as second nature to me. In my previous roles, the focus was always on quality and that focus remains in my role at ERC Testing.”
