Get Trained hup!

Ultraframe says those wanting to learn how to build the better way can now get ‘hup! close and personal’ with the company’s revolutionary hup! building system at a series of free of charge, hands-on training sessions at Ultraframe’s Clitheroe HQ. The new system, which was previewed at the FIT Show, is available for quotes from mid-July and first orders can be placed from 1st August.

Along with the in-person training courses at Ultraframe, prospective hup! users can also attend webinars during this first wave of hup! training which will take place throughout July and August, covering everything from surveying and specification, through to building and applying wall finishes.

Explaining more about the hands-on support available to hup! users, Ultraframe marketing director, Alex Hewitt, said: “We were thrilled with the response we got to hup! when we previewed it at the FIT Show and we’re sure that all of those who received it so enthusiastically will now be thrilled that they are able to receive quotes and place orders. hup! totally changes the way that home extensions and other living spaces are built – making the whole process faster, quicker, and easier, and providing a stunning, energy efficient end result. As hup! is something so new and different to anything else on the market, we are running a series of free of charge training courses – both online and at our Clitheroe HQ – to ensure that anyone interested in learning more about the system is fully equipped to get started.”

The hup! training courses available during July and August are:

  • Surveying hup! – 19th July, Clitheroe
  • Specifying & Surveying hup! – 9th August, webinar
  • Installing hup! (including wall finishes) – 16th August, Clitheroe
  • hup! fitter training – 30th August, webinar

Delivered by well-known Ultraframe technical experts Phil Wharf, Mark Bowler and Simon Tennant – who have over 100 years of industry experience between them – the courses are an opportunity to get hands on with the hup! system.

Those attending the hup! surveying & specifying course will learn about the various hup! datum points, how to measure and how to ensure orders have the correct information for walls, base, and roofs. Attendees will also explore the huge design capabilities of the hup! system – including building shapes and wall finishes – and discover wiring, basework, and structural parameters.

The hup! installation course will explain and demonstrate how to build a hup!, including everything from installing the base plate, assembling a hup! wall including the battens, membrane, and trims, making the critical connections between the wall and roofs, applying the unique hup! brick mesh, and much more. Ulttraframe says: ‘Participants will be able to touch and feel the components and experience firsthand how quick and easy it is to assemble a hup! wall and apply the hup! brick mesh. By the end of the training course, attendees will have the confidence to undertake a clean, safe, and efficient hup! installation’.

Concluding, Alex said: “hup! is a real game changer and we want to ensure that those interested in revolutionising the way they build are fully equipped with the knowledge they need to get started. We truly believe that once someone has built with hup! they will never look back. With hup!, what would usually take months can be built in weeks because hup! is fast and simple to build from the pre-manufactured kit. Not only does hup! make builders’ lives easier, but there is also far less mess and disruption than with traditional methods, meaning happy homeowners too. We would urge anyone interested in learning more about the building system that is set to change the way that homes are extended to contact Ultraframe on 01200 443311 or by emailing marketing@ultraframe.co.uk to secure their place on the hup! training sessions.”

Places on this first wave of hup! training are strictly limited so early booking is advisable.
