Balls2 Marketing won big at the CIPR Midlands PRide Awards, taking home gold for Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy and silver for Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy, while Senior Account Manager, Lauren Doyle, also won silver for Outstanding Young Communicator.
The specialist PR & marketing agency for the glazing industry attended the prestigious CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations) Midlands PRide Awards at The Birmingham Conference and Events Centre on 27 September.
Client Strategy Director at Balls2 Marketing, Sarah Ball, says: “We’re completely over the moon to be named Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy and to also win silver in Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy. It really is a credit to the team who work hard to achieve great results for our clients.
“The CIPR PRide Awards are so important as they recognise excellence in public relations and communications and outstanding work delivered to clients and employers across the Midlands.
The CIPR PRide Award judges commented: “The judges were impressed by the dynamic approach of Balls2 Marketing which is clearly a fun agency to work for. They have seen impressive client growth and have been able to take on projects that, on the face of it, were challenging to bring alive and deliver success through a combination of great ideas and hard work. The judges were particularly impressed by their clear commitment to CPD, which included career path planning. A worthy winner.”
Lauren Doyle, Senior Account Manager at Balls2 Marketing, won the silver award for Outstanding Young Communicator at the CIPR Midlands PRide awards.
Lauren joined Balls2 Marketing in 2014 as a PR assistant and has worked up the ranks to Senior Account Manager, impressing clients and Balls2 Marketing Directors Andy and Sarah Ball.
“We are super happy and proud of Lauren for being named silver for Outstanding Young Communicator. She’s an integral part of our team and works so hard to deliver the best results for our customers as well as managing our growing team to perform the best they can,” says Sarah Ball, Client Strategy Director at Balls2 Marketing.
“To be recognised by the PRide awards is a true testament to Lauren’s commitment to providing excellent communications and abiding by the CIPR strict code of conduct.”
Lauren has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations since 2015 and advanced to her current position by completing 4 years of CIPR’s CPD scheme and earning her CIPR Advanced Certificate at Birmingham City University.
Sarah continued: “Lauren is used to winning awards for clients – with 10 in the bag and 21 shortlisted so far – so it’s fantastic that she won silver for her own achievements”.
