At a glance, the Business Pilot Barometer figures look promising for October 2023: average leads were up 16.5% to 115.9, and average sales jumped 18.9% to 56.6. And compared to the same period last year, they are up 23.8% and 28.9% respectively.

WRA Welcomes Launch Of RPS 291

 

Following extensive discussions with the Environment Agency on behalf of industry, the Wood Recyclers’ Association (WRA) last week (Thursday, November 2nd) welcomed the launch of a new regulatory position statement for waste wood which it says will make it more practical to meet regulatory requirements while still ensuring compliance.

RPS 291 allows, in the short term, for potentially hazardous ‘amber’ waste wood items* removed from domestic premises, demolition sites or other buildings to be stored and processed as non-hazardous...

Timber Windows And Doors Manufacturer Invests In Livingston HQ

 

High-performance timber windows and doors manufacturer NorDan UK has invested £800,000 in a new Sustainability and Innovation Centre as part of a £2 million upgrade of its national headquarters in Livingston.
