Conservatory Outlet Marks Training Milestone With £130,000 Investment In Apprentices

 

Conservatory Outlet, which employs more than 120 staff at its Thomas Wharf Lane factory, invested more than £130,000 into nurturing future talent over the last twelve months by continuing to offer access to vocational learning opportunities and ongoing professional development.

This has resulted in Kyle Green being offered a full-time role in IT support and Natalie Bossons, who joined in 2019, now working as an order processor and developing her knowledge further by undertaking her team leader Level 3 qualification.

2022: A Vintage Year For VBH

 

Hardware manufacturer, VBH, has issued a review of 2022, advising that the year was a great success for the company. The report reads as follows:

“We are pleased to advise that 2022 was an excellent year for VBH, building on the successes of 2021.

We celebrated our 40th year in business with a dinner and dance at Leeds Castle in May. Most of the team made the trip to Kent, including many from our sites in East Kilbride and Wales.

We once again co-hosted our customer golf day in the summer with our friends at Deceuninck.

Eurocell Invests Nearly £3Million To Support Growth In Fabricator Network

 

Eurocell has demonstrated its commitment to its nationwide network of fabrication partners with significant investment enabling them to increase productivity, further expand their businesses and secure their long-term futures, claims the company.

A total of nearly £3million has been committed by Eurocell. The investment includes allocations provided to onboarding new fabricators to the network, along with the addition of new machinery, software, and programming for existing fabricators.

Investments have also been made into upgrades and maintenance for equipment currently being used by fabricators, so they can maintain and enhance their productivity, says the company.

Comp Door Customers Get Their Own Branded Version Of Touch

 

When it launched its Business Micros Touch Portal online quoting and ordering system towards the end of 2022, Comp Door promised there would be more to come, and it has delivered on that promise with the launch of a new Branded Mode for Touch which customers can make their own.

New Wave Doors Delivers 100% OTIF

 

Despite industry-wide supply chain issues recently, New Wave Doors reported fulfilling every one of its orders on time and in full throughout November.

The Bristol-based manufacturer has seen demand for its alternative to traditional bi-fold doors increase considerably in recent years ­– prompting some to ask if the typical bi-fold’s days are numbered – and has always been proud of its ability to fulfil orders quickly and efficiently.

Senior Creates A Classic At The YMCA

 

Senior Architectural Systems has delivered the glazing package for the new YMCA Community and Activity Village in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

The project saw Senior work alongside Rayner Davies Architects and main contractor R G Carter Construction to design and provide suitable aluminium doors, windows and curtain wall solutions which were fabricated and installed by Acorn Aluminium.
