DOORCO Reveals New Glass Collection

 

Leading composite door supplier DOORCO, has announced the launch of a new glass collection which will be available to customers from 16th November. The new collection has been created from a widened network of door glass suppliers and contains over 40 styles of decorative glass.

“Door glass is now an integral part of a door’s design and customers increasingly look to DOORCO as a single supply point for all their door components,” says Dan Sullivan, DOORCO MD. “Even before the challenges of 2020, the supply of door glass was an issue, so earlier this year we started work on a new glass collection from a wider range of suppliers.

The operational directors of leading hardware and accessories manufacturer Roto have outlined how they steered their business through the unprecedented events of 2020 and declared the year to be a relative success at the company’s International Press Day.

The annual event was being held online for the first time and webcast from Roto headquarters in Leinfelden, Germany.

In the early days of the virus pandemic, Roto took the decision to ramp up production at many of its 15 worldwide factories in order to create buffer stocks. It also implemented a preventative healthcare programme to help keep employees safe.

HMRC To Investigate CJRS Claims

 

Thousands of companies that made claims under the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme but didn’t keep proper records will be the first to be investigated, say leading tax and advisory firm Blick Rothenberg.

Fiona Fernie, a Tax Dispute Resolution Partner with the firm said “partner at the firm said: “ HMRC are investigating widespread fraud and are looking into thousands of claims that were made under the scheme and unfortunately businesses that did not keep proper records are the ones that are being scrutinised the most.

Software Underpins Halsall Glass Doubling Of Turnover

 

Halsall Glass has said that it has more than doubled its turnover in less than a year, driven by customer acquisition post lockdown and exponential growth in demand.

The glass processor which operates across a market, including construction, supply to other glass companies, interior fit out, leisure, retail display, said that it had won a number of new contracts, while existing customers had also seen growth.
