British Woodworking Federation Pulls Away From Membership Of The Confederation Of Timber Industries

 

The British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has today announced that it will start the process to withdraw its membership of the Confederation of Timber Industries (CTI).

The Confederation of Timber Industries was established in 2014 by the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) with the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) joining in 2016. It is an umbrella organisation representing the timber supply chain. Following its inception, the membership has increased to include the Structural Timber Association (STA), Wood Protection Association and the Trussed Rafter Association (TRA).

Showcasing AluK Curtain Walling In A 21st Century Schools Setting

 

The newly opened £24m Torfaen Learning Zone in Cwmbran is a showcase for AluK’s SL52 capped, mullion drained curtain walling system, complete with punched open-in windows in the thermally efficient AluK 77IWE casement system.

Family-Run Joinery Business Scoops FENSA Installation Of The Year

 

Nathan McCarter Joinery, a Tavistock-based joinery business specialising in timber windows and doors, has scooped the FENSA Installation of the Year 2020 award, beating-off stiff competition from more than 500,000 other installations.

New Factory Ramps Up Production For Leading Hardware Supplier
