Shelforce Nominated For Manufacturing Excellence Award

Window and fire door manufacturer Shelforce has been nominated for the Manufacturing Excellence Award at this year’s Scale Up Awards 2023.

The company is hoping to win back-to-back Scale-Up Awards having been named as Diversity Champion at last year’s event.

Shelforce also received The Kings Award for Enterprise in Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility) in April thanks to its inclusive approach to training and employment, with 75% of its workforce having a disability.

Shelforce business manager Howard Trotter said: “We are delighted to be nominated for the Manufacturing Excellence Award at this year’s Scale-Up Awards, which is a wonderful event. It was fantastic to win Diversity Champion last year, but there is so much more to our business. We produce high-quality products in a hugely professional and competitive marketplace and have grown over the last 12 months.”

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony and gala evening on November 16.
