Conservatory roof manufacturer SupaLite is still delivering to its customers – despite the supply chain challenges the industry is currently facing.
While companies large and small are feeling the pressure as lead-times are extended and service levels drop, SupaLite customers are still being offered 7-10-day lead times.
Managing Director Steve Hacking said: “Continuing to deliver the level of service our customers have come to expect is hugely important to us and offering 7-10-day lead times is even more important with demand at record levels across the industry.
“We have really hit the ground running since lockdown was relaxed and we continue to show why we have a reputation as the UK’s leading replacement roof solution, trusted by fabricators and installers and recognised by consumers.”
Steve was also quick to praise SupaLite’s supply chain partners as the company has been able to meet record levels of demand with the minimum of fuss.
“Nobody could have predicted the current situation with demand outstripping supply, but thanks to the close links we have with our supply chain partners the problems have not affected us,” said Steve.
“With many fabricators and installers dealing with customers demanding urgent fittings but struggling with usually reliable suppliers, thanks to the strength of our supply chain we have been able to work at normal capacity.”
With SupaLite celebrating record levels of sales increases in recent months, investment in a new Haffner machining centre and manufacturing software to increase efficiency, plus the strengthening of its team with 15 new starters in the last couple of months, SupaLite continues to lead the way.
