SWC Trade Frames, based in Scarborough, has become the latest composite door specialist to choose The Consultancy’s Tranquility quoting and ordering software, which gives trade customers the option to design products, get quotes and place orders direct from the SWC website.
Customers previously used a standard single sheet price list for the whole of the SWC range. Now, they can set up their own online accounts and use the bespoke SWC Tranquility Composite Door Builder to design and quote using any product combination – either face to face with a customer or after a sales visit, and even print off a PDF showing the final door selection to give to the homeowner as confirmation. Once the quote is accepted, the customer can log back into their account and place their order direct.
SWC have added the Tranquility ordering system in response to a surge in demand over recent months for their ‘expertly crafted’ composite doors, as busy installers across the North East of England look for a competitive, mass market product which is fast and easy to fit but manufactured with the utmost attention to detail, said the company.
Mark Catchpole, Sales Director at SWC Trade Frames, says: “Composite doors represent a huge opportunity for us in both the short and medium term. We know that we have a product which stands out from the rest and the bespoke Tranquility software gives us yet another USP.
“The feedback from installers on the new Door Designer option has been really positive, with the vast majority of customers now opting to use this rather than our existing online ordering software.”
He adds: “It’s really intuitive and user-friendly, gives them access to all our design options and has smart, built-in sense checks which alert them to any errors on product combinations or problems such as size limitations. They can price and order top-lights and side-lights as well and crucially convert quotes to orders from within the Designer, without having to complete another order form.”
SWC Trade Frames’ retail customers also have the option of adding their own My Door Designer to their websites, from The Consultancy’s sister company Glazing Vault, helping them to generate warm leads from homeowners who can create their own door designs using the same SWC product options.
One of the key benefits of The Consultancy’s Tranquility software is that it allows SWC to manage its own product options, prices and customer discounts and add new doors as they are added to the range.
