Tradesmith, the Hailsham-based trade fabricator of finely-crafted windows and doors serving the South East, has introduced a ‘Why Tradesmith?’ brochure. The new brochure is designed to help installers sell more to the fast growth sectors in the market.
At the start of 2018, Tradesmith reviewed the market to identify strong growth sectors, such as homeowners whose homes have risen substantially in value over the years, and the products and brands it fabricated. Seeing strong growth in colour and high-end products, Tradesmith strengthened its line-up to offer a wide range of the best flush sashes and heritage windows and doors for character homes and period properties; premium composite doors; aluminium doors and windows, sliders and bifolds; and slide and fold doors and windows, so customers would have all the high-end products and in-demand brands they needed to win profitable business and grow.
The company sharpened its service too, so customers could offer a real-time service in keeping with the rapid response service homeowners have got used to today.
“Installers aren’t used to such a combination of brand, product choice, and reliable fast-response service,” explains Tradesmith Managing Director Mark Hutchinson, “so we needed an effective way to tell them. That’s why we decided on this ‘Why Tradesmith?’ brochure. When they see the in-demand products, the amazing colour range, the big-name brands and the choice of service levels, including our Amazon-fast Next Day service, they realise how much more competitive they’ll be, and they give us a call. Our growth has been phenomenal since we implemented this new strategy.”
The brochure, which leads with the in-demand brands and products, has stunning imagery. The portfolio includes Deceuninck Heritage; Deceuninck Invisifold doors – and windows – with VBH hardware; Residence (R9 and R7); VEKA Halo windows and doors; WarmCore hybrid-aluminium doors and windows; Masterframe vertical sliders; Masterdor Craftsman precision engineered doors from Synseal; premium Solidor timber-core composite doors; the beautiful traditional PVC-U Sussex Doors; Ultraframe, Stratus and Global conservatory roofs; and a wide range of great hardware from VBH, Ultion, Lock-Lock, Residence Romatopola, Ingenious, and others.
“We’re also the first PVC-U fabricator to offer a range of Bluesky certified A++, A and B rated acoustic windows,” Mark continues. “Apart from making the best range of flush sash windows, this brand line-up instantly enables Tradesmith to offer the widest, most exciting range of colour in the South East. And the killer is, we offer it with the same fast-response service levels in white and colour.
“People who haven’t seen our factory, delivery vehicles or website recently will see that we’ve refreshed our logo and style, so we look the business too,” says Mark. “Customer and prospect response to the new branding and brochure has been extremely positive, and together with our new marketing and PR it’s brought in a lot of business very quickly. We’ve had to take on an extra 20% of people in the factory to enable us to make it.”
